Privacy and terms

Last updated 6 October 2026.

Smite Lab is a free fan-made trainer. It keeps as little as it can, never sells your data, never shares your account or game data, and runs no analytics of its own. It may show ads to pay for the server (see Advertising below).

Without an account

Everything plays without signing in. Your settings, key bindings and the history of your attempts stay in your browser's storage on this device; they are never sent anywhere. Solo and daily-challenge fights are run on our server while you play them, but a guest's results aren't kept there. A name you type to join a duel is shown to your opponent and kept only for that duel. Duel chat is relayed between the two players and never stored.

With a Google account

Signing in uses Google, through Firebase Authentication. For sign-in, Firebase Authentication keeps your Google email address, name and profile photo link (and when you signed up and last signed in); they are deleted with your account. Our server sees them when you sign in but doesn't store them, and other players never see your Google name or email, only the nickname you pick. To keep your ranks and leaderboard places we store, on Google Cloud in the United States:

Your nickname, Ranked rank and leaderboard places are public. Your Solo, daily and duel statistics are shown on your profile only if you make it public.

Server logs

Like any website, the server sees your IP address. It uses it to limit abuse (rate limits, too many connections) and Google Cloud keeps request logs, which include it, for up to 30 days.

Advertising

When ads are shown, they come from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you're asked for your consent first. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's My Ad Center, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Smite Lab never shows ads during a fight and doesn't pass your account or game data to advertisers.

Cookies and storage

Smite Lab itself sets no tracking cookies. The browser storage it uses only keeps your settings, your history and, if you sign in, your sign-in session. Advertising cookies are described above.

Deleting your data

Signed in, open your profile (your name at the top of the page) and choose Delete account: your nickname, ranks, results, records and sign-in are deleted from the server for good. Backups that may still hold them expire within 7 days. To clear what's on a device, use Reset on the Stats page or clear this site's data in your browser.

Terms

Smite Lab is provided as is, for fun and practice, with no guarantee it stays available or that rankings are kept. Play fair: results that look automated or tampered with are left off the leaderboards, and names or chat with slurs or hate can be renamed or removed. It isn't made for children under 13.
